FAQ
If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, please send us an email and we’ll be happy to discuss with you!
How much do Fruit of the Forest Woodworking commissions cost?
We provide completely bespoke designs for each client, so there is no “standard cost” for our commissions. But we are always happy to have a no commitment chat with you and give a free estimation on the cost of your ideal projects.
Are there any projects you don’t take on?
Unfortunately, we only consider cabinetry work on a case-by-case basis. We also tend to steer away from projects such as countertops, structural housing components, and anything that uses plywood, MDF, and other artificial wood alternatives. While we do work on live-edge wood products, we do not build epoxy river tables. However, epoxy finishes can be offered for live edge and other projects.
What is Fruit of the Forest Woodworking’s commission process?
You can find a thorough breakdown of our process here, but in short, it starts with you reaching out to us via our Request a Quote form, progresses to a design visit and 2-3 design concepts, and concludes with us creating your commission from the ground up and delivering it directly to your home. If there is any installation necessary, we will take care of that as well!
Why a design visit?
Not only is it essential that our pieces flow seamlessly with the rest of your house, but we also believe that the furniture and decor someone puts in their house is an extension of them—and as such, we prioritize meeting with our clients in person whenever possible to make sure that the designs we create are tailored to you in a way that is completely authentic, so when someone walks into your home, they tell you just how much “you” that coffee table really is.
What service area does Fruit of the Forest Woodworking cover?
We primarily serve the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, where our face-to-face design process is available. For our out of region customers, we provide online alternatives such as video meetings to fulfill your needs. All deliveries of our products are handled by carriers we trust, if not ourselves.
